Analysis on Factors Determining Performance of In-service Education in Personal Assistant Service

Abstract
This manuscript attempts to analyze the factors that affect the performance of in-service education purposed to enhance the quality of personal assistant service. Multi-dimensional model is employed as the research model, which is designed to examine the impacts of two primary factors, managerial and education program characteristics, on organizational performance. Survey has been implemented to managers in charge of in-service education in service providing organizations. The analysis results reveal that several managerial factors including the number of service assistant per manager, the number of the disabled per service assistant, service period, organization type, job satisfaction and program characteristics including education hours and percentage of practice education have significant influence on the performance of in-service educations. Lastly, based on these results this research presented discussions and practical implications on the current in-service education program in personal assistant service.
